Refunds, changes, and unused seats
These rules apply to classroom seats and private journal review booked with Service Craftpoint Academy, 125 Samsen Rd., Wat Sam Phra Ya, Phra Nakorn, Bangkok, 10200. They do not cover goods, shipping, software, or online subscriptions because we do not sell those. Fees mentioned on the site are informational; when a fee has been settled with the desk in Bangkok, the following applies.
Who may request a refund
The guest named on the seat list, or a person they authorise in writing, may ask the Phra Nakorn desk for a refund or a date change. Telephone 66 0-2271-9471 or write hall@service-craftpoint.click with the sitting date and the name on the list.
Timeframe
Written requests received at least fourteen full days before the sitting’s advertised start may receive a full refund of the hall fee actually paid, minus any printed-pack cost already incurred if the pack has been produced with your name. Requests received between thirteen days and forty-eight hours before start may receive a fifty percent refund of the hall fee paid, or a move to a later sitting if a chair exists. Requests inside forty-eight hours are treated as late changes, not as full refunds.
Full or partial refund
A full refund is for a cancelled enquiry or a sitting we cannot hold. A partial refund reflects unused instructor time when you withdraw after packs are printed or after a mentorship sitting has already occurred. We do not refund a completed day of the two-day seminar if you attend the first day and leave; the second day may be offered on a later hall without a second fee if space exists.
Non-refundable items
Named printed chart packs that have already been produced, and instructor hours already sat in mentorship, are not refundable. A deposit taken at the desk to hold a scarce eight-seat clinic table is not refundable inside seven days of the clinic, because that chair cannot honestly be offered to another guest at short notice.
Process
Send the sitting name, date, and how the fee was settled (cash at the desk or bank transfer to the Academy). We confirm receipt within three working days. We do not process refunds through this website.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned by the same method used to pay, usually within ten working days after approval, excluding Thai bank holidays. Cash paid at the desk is returned at the desk by appointment. We do not send cash through the post.
Cancellation by the Academy
If we cancel a sitting, you may take a full refund of fees paid for that sitting or move to another date. Travel and lodging you arranged yourself are not reimbursed; we can suggest nearby rooms but we never book them.
Rescheduling
You may move once to another published sitting of the same type without a further hall fee if you write at least seven days before start and a chair is free. A second move is treated as a new enquiry. Mentorship sittings may be moved once inside the four-week block if both people are free; unused sittings after the block window lapse without refund.
Deposits
Where the desk asks for a deposit to hold a clinic or seminar chair, that amount is applied to the hall fee. It is refundable on the same timetable as the hall fee unless the pack has already been printed in your name.
No-shows
If you do not arrive and do not write before the door closes, the seat is treated as used. We do not keep a public empty-chair display. A no-show on day one of the seminar forfeits day one; you may still attend day two if you telephone before 08:30 on day two.
Work already started
Once a seminar morning or a mentorship sitting has begun, that portion of instructor time is earned. Remaining unused mentorship sittings may be refunded at a simple quarter of the block fee for each sitting not held, provided you write before the next booked hour.
Purchased materials
Printed packs handed to you in the hall are yours. We do not buy them back. If you withdraw before collection, uncollected packs may be recycled and their production cost withheld as described above.
Exceptions
Documented hospital admission or a government-declared building closure may be treated more gently than the ordinary timetable; write as soon as you reasonably can. We do not create exceptions for a change of mind after you have marked charts in the room.
